im personally a fan of proactiv- have you ever tried it? I never needed the full kit but I know people who had it work wonders for them.

I have never even heard of Arbonne.

I have a friend who is now an Arbonne consultant because of how much she loves the product.  She was breaking out like crazy before her wedding and nothing worked except Arbonned.  I personally have never used it, so I only have her experiences to share.  My sisters both used it for awhile and loved it, just eventually had to stop using it because it can be rather expensive.

I was a fan of Kheils.  Here are my reasons why.  A) they have a store and you can give it a try there in the store.  and B) they had folks that seemed to know how to settle my skin down.  I got a nasty sunburn years ago and from the peeling and the irritation I couldn’t get it to settle down.  They have a product that just seemed to put my skin at ease.  Maybe the stress and the summer MN weather is getting to you and you just need something right now to get it back to normal (that is what it sounds like) and maybe not just a whole dermalogical overhaul that won’t probably make a huge impact in only 3 weeks.  I saw immediate changes in a day or two.  If you want to know my opinions I can pm you.  I don’t use Kheils everyday but I found it is what really helps when my skin gets all out of whack.  Oh and the other thing I like is it is very gentle.  I have found that the acne treatments alot of times are so harsh that the irritation makes my skin worse.

Darling Husband went to the dermatologist and got steroids for his skin for our wedding.  He took it for like 3-5 (i forget) days before the wedding and thats it.  He tried it once a month or 2 before to make sure it worked.  He tried a whole bunch of other stuff from them including antibiotics but the steriods really did the trick!  Its perfect for a 1 time use big event!

i’ve used some Arbonne products but never the acne line. The products I’ve used do work pretty well – facial lotion w/sunscreen, muscle rub, mud mask. They are definately worth the money IMO.  And no, I don’t work for them Smile, future SIL hosted a party and I bought some things. I think that Arbonne has a return policy so if you don’t like it or it doesn’t work the way you want it to you can return it.

Whatever you decide to use, hope it works well for you.

Personally I wouldn’t get involved with Arbonne. If you buy one thing, she’s just going to start pestering you to buy more stuff and then try to get you to become a consultant. Arbonne (formerly Amway) is a terribly abusive company. My best friend’s dad lost a LOT of money doing Amway. I don’t want to be any part of Arbonne or other multi-level marketing schemes because they destroy people’s lives. So no, I wouldn’t buy anything from her.

I used to sell Arbonne.  The acne line was not as good as proactive, but the anti aging kits are really good but pricey.  I just stopped selling because I was lazy.  The products are good but not amazing

I used Arbonne for a while and I loved it!  I just wish I could afford to buy some more. The lady who sold it to me told me that the company is super hypo-allergenic where they had to change their entire product line because they were getting complaints that people were breaking out. And I love that they have ONE product, so you don’t have to figure out if your skin is oily or dry or combination or sometimes combination, but dry every third Tuesday.

See if the sales person will give you some samples that you can use for a little bit. It irritated my skin a little for the first 2 days, but after that it was perfect.

@FreeRangeMom: Amway is still in business and has nothing to do with Arbonne.
