Hello all you creative Bees.
DH and I are in the midst of baby fever. Though we aren’t actively TTC, we’re working hard to prepare for that time in our lives.
We love throwing around baby names, we’ve already agreed on our future DSs name, but we’re so hung up on a baby girl’s name.
Her middle name would be Gloria, which is my middle name from my great grandmother and it’s also the name of DHs late grandmother.
We want a G first name, preferably a hard G, like in Gloria.
My favritie is Greenly Gloria, but DH HATES it. So now we’re on the hunt.
What do you Bees got?! 😏

Gail (though I prefer the longer Abigail)
Although you didn’t ask for opinions on this, so disregard if you like, I am not a big fan of alliteration when it comes to names.

My favourite G names for girls are Grace and Georgia (although I’m not liking the flow of Georgia Gloria lol). I also don’t mind Geraldine (the nickname Geri is very cute) or Gabrielle.

Gracie Gloria would be so cute!

I like Gwendolyn and Greta. Gaia is another option.

Brielle : Thank you for your suggestions. Grace Glora has a nice ring to it. So old fashioned for both names though! But definitley cute.
echomomm : People give altercations when giving baby names?! 0.o You went out of your way to reply to my post! For that I very much appreciate that!
JessieFay13 : Thank you! I LOOOOOVE Georgia. I think I mentioned that one to DH a while ago and he shot that one down too. He can be a pain in the butt. Haha. I hope we have a boy first for both of our sakes!

nycoleman : Greenly Gloria sounds strange. “Greenly” sounds like an adjective and something that she’ll get teased over all through school.
Gemma (I knew a Spanish girl with this name and it was pronounced with a hard G.)
I like Grace or Gracie the best.

slothbear : That’s exactly what DH said! Hahaha.
The only issue I’m running into with G names (especially hard G) is that they’re so old fashioned! Gracie Gloria is pretty cute though! Thank you (:

I would go with Virgina and call her Ginny.

I LOVE the name Gloria. My husband wasn’t fond of it so we named our daughter Georgia. Another idea is Guinevere.

Might be a little out there, but I’ve always loved “Gaia”

hikingbride : I think nicknames are weird. My mother instilled this in me. For instance, my name is Nycole. If she wanted people to call me Nicky, she would have just named me Nicky. Silly I know… blame my mother! haha But Virginia is a pretty name! And I thank you for your suggestions!
eeniebeans : I love that name Georgia! It’s such a delicate mix between old fashioned and modern. (: Thank you for your input!

Rachel Jennie : My husband actually likes that one! Go figure! It does have a cute ring to it Thank you (:
