I have been trying to find a sample of the Divina for a while and decided to bite the bullet and pay to order in a sample to try.. here is the result. Sadly the sample was a size too big and also the photo was taken length ways so I had to rotate it to post, which has resulted in me looking a bit squidged. So.. not a completely fair comparison to the other dress where the sample fit great and the photo was round the right way..
Anyhow, Im looking to buy one this week, what do you think??
Maggie Sottero, Divina
More classic style, I believe it is an Ellis bridals gown.

I LOVE the first one! Beautiful!
ETA: Can you label the dresses in your post so you get accurate votes in the poll?

You won’t go wrong with either one, but I’m a sucker for ruffles……so I voted for the Divina. 🙂

i love the second one its so flattering on you

I love the second one! It looks stunning on you and you look incredibly glamourous!

Personally I think the Divina would suit you better if the ruffles were more asymmetric – I feel like the change from form-fitting to flowy is too abrupt. Having said that, both are gorgeous and you would look amazing in either – I just prefer the second on you.

This is a tough one… you look amazing in both!
Personally I’m not a huge fan of ‘shinier’ fabrics but that’s just on me, so I’d pick the Divina, but which one do you feel most beautiful/comfortable in?

I think you look great in both, and I have a major crush on Divina, but they’re so different!! – can you honestly say you don’t have a preference? Which one fits better with what you envision for your wedding day?
Also, I’m an adorae bride and feel like Divina is the new popular Maggie dress, will that bother you months down the road when a ton of other brides have your dress? It doesn’t bother me with Adorae, but I know it bothers some so that’s something else to think about! 🙂

The second one looks AMAZING on you!

Both dresses look amazing on your figure! However, I I had to choose one over the other, I’d go with the first one! It has just enough drama, and that belt is gorgeous!

I know a ton of people love Divina, I just think the second one is more bridal

They both look great on you! I’m a fan of a little bling on dresses, so I voted for the Davina.

Thanks so much for all your comments and votes so far, its really a massive help.
In answer to mchitt329 question. I guess I do have a slight preference for the Divina, as I have always wanted a long, different looking train and the train on the Divina is insane!
However, there is a little voice in the back on my head saying go for the sensible timelss option, which is what I perceive the more classic dress to be.
I think both would work with my venue, so I just have to pick between the two. My wedding is six months tomorrow, so Im seriously out of time to decide!
If it helps to match the dress up.. this is my venue.. sorry about the dark photo, English weather 🙁

I just tried on the Divina yesterday…beautiful dress. I must say it looks amazing on you and flatters your figure, as does the second option. However, I had the same concern as you…20 years from now when I show my wedding pics in the Divina to my children will they just laugh at it? Also, will you be comfortable with the long dramatic train? Even when it’s bustled, it’s a lot of dress to be carrying around. It’s such a tough decision. With the second option, its timeless as you said. If you want to add drama to the look you can have a cathedral length veil and add bling with jewelry.
