Anyone have any ideas how to decorate the envelopes for my invitations? Its the 8th week mark now and we need to get them out ASAP! We do not have time to sent it in to be caligraphed, and we thought of printing right on the envelopes but it was too costly.
And what about stamps? How much postage would we need for the rsvp envelopes and the invitation itself? I am freaking out!! I knew we should not have waited till the last minute:(

I don’t know about american postage, but I don’t see any need to decorate an envelope. Just write out the addresses in your nicest writing, or if you don’t want to do that, buy a pack of labels and print them out.
I suppose caligraphy is the “right” way to do things, but if you’re pressed for time/money nobody’s going to care that much about an envelope that’s going to get tossed in the garbage right away.

You can go to the post office and have them weigh it so you know exactly how much postage you’ll need!!
As for decoration, buy some nice felt tipped pens and write them with your nicest hand writing. Then maybe buy decorative seals to close the envelope? Or get a decorative rubber stamp and decorate one bottom corner (like the bottom left) of the envelope?
Don’t stress… do something fast and get them out!
