No I started working out before for myself.  Now with the ring is too much pressure I think sometimes but its helping me keep steady, if I don’t lose the weight I can’t wear mom’s dress and that’s important to me so I keep on keeping on.

I started working out way before the engagement and mostly for me. However, I knew the engagement was coming soon and used that for the extra bit of motivation… I don’t just want to look good in wedding photos, I want to look hot in engagement pics too! 🙂

I became unmotivated after my engagement and have gained 12 pounds over the last year. I don’t know what changed for me, I need to get back on track ASAP!

haha. I actually started hitting the gym again two months or so back. I’m pretty half assed with it though and sometimes I think “once R and I are engaged and Labdarling and M are, her and I are going to revert back to the fitness monsters we were summer 2010.” <3

I’ve just started trying to lose weight after putting off for too long. Honestly, I think one of the biggest obstacles is just getting started. Once you start, you can make a plan for diet and exercise and take it one day at a time. If you’re ready to get started with weight loss, I highly recommend using MyFitnessPal to help track your calories. It’s a great tool that’s very easy to use and there’s a lot of bees on the site (including me, my username is the same, VAwife) who are great at giving encouragment and motivation.
