Darling Husband and I got married a year and a half ago. My e-ring fit great, but the 2 rings together are tight. Then it was summer and I got pregnant, so the rings were almost immediately retired to my jewelry box. By the time I had my son, it was summer again and I was nervous about getting them sized to big since my fingers do tend to swell in the summer and through out the day if it’s hot out.
We are going to get them sized soon, hopefully this weekend. I hear horror stories about women losing stones after their rings have been sized. What do I need to look for to make sure they are going to size my rings correctly and not change the structure of my ring, risking me losing stones?
These are my rings. The wedding bands has stones around the top half, not around the whole ring. Same with the e-ring.

I have stones on the sides of my ring that fell out while they resized it. They had to put my stones back in and I can see where they did it… I am not super happy but no one notices it even when I point it out. Just be careful, most jewelers will check to see if the stones are loose before they give it back to you. 🙂

Well I would keep the tight rings if I were you. I love my rings tight. I’ve never lost them that way and they don’t move (the diamond doesn’t droop to one side). Mine are very tight in summer and looser in the winter.

@PinkMagnolia: They aren’t just tight, they don’t fit at all since I got pregnant. I don’t have a choice but to get the resized. My son is nearly 6 months and they still don’t fit, so I don’t expect them to fit again.
