why not go try some on at dress shops and then try to find them online. either previously worn or on sale. There are advantages and disadvatanges to this plan. #1 you could find the right dress in the shop and then not find it online…always a posibility or this plan could be really great because you can try on what you think is the dress and find that it doesn’t work and something you would never have picked could be the one.

hope this makes sense…good luck. keep us posted!

Hang in there! Please don’t take this the wrong way, I’m a size 18. Have you considered that the issue might not be the dress but your self-esteem? It’s pretty shocking sometimes when you don’t realize about your weight fluctuations. Basically, when the weight in your head doesn’t match the scale…it’s a shocker.

If the dress is the only issue…what about it are you most unhappy about? How about alterations by a crafty friend? mom? yourself? Altering the dress could be cheaper than buying a new one in some cases.

Good luck!

Well, I know from seeing other people try on dresses…some brides just don’t end up gushing over their dress. If you like how you look in it, even if you don’t have that OMG! It’s perfect/crying thing going on, that doesn’t mean it’s not “your” dress. I agree with munch about getting it altered to something you do like or maybe try on dresses at a salon just to get an idea of what you like in a dress while it’s on you and try again once you really know.
