My Fiance and i are interested in having Kegs for our wedding. With saying that, how many Kegs will be enough for about 150 guests. It is an adult only wedding so keep that in mind. Please any suggestions are welcomed.
Thank you much

Are kegs the only alcohol you are serving? How large are your glasses?
A keg – liquor stores might refer to it as a half-barrel – contains 15 and a half gallons of beer. There are 128 oz. in a gallon, so one keg contains 1,984 oz., 248 8-oz. servings, 165 12-oz. servings or 124 16-oz servings.
I think the calculation is 1 drink per hour, per guest – but that number will change if you are serving other things such as wine or hard liquor/shots.

Are you only having one kind of beer? Are you having wine or any other alcoholic drinks? And how many glasses can you get out of a keg?

Commenting to follow. We are having kegs of craft beer, bottled Coors Light for those who don’t care for craft brews, and wine. No liquor. We are having about 180 guests, 150 that are of drinking age, many of which whom would be considered “heavy drinkers.” We plan to have a few (maybe 3) smaller kegs of craft beer & a larger keg of Blue Moon because it seems to be a crowd pleaser, especially in the warm months. I cant decide if we will have too much or not enough. It is a big fear of mine to run out of alcohol!
