My fiancé picked an 18K white gold band. For whatever reason it was important to him that it could be cut off if he was in an accident.

Mine was a matching set, so the band came with the ring which I liked, but I also didn’t want stones on the band to take away from the ering.  My husband just got a $20 stainless steel ring off of overstock.com.  He loves it.

DH has two rings, one is titanium and one is tungsten. He really liked how lightweight the titanium was, but it scratches so easily. We’ve only been married just under a month and it is scratched to hell, so I recently ordered him the exact same ring in tungsten to replace it. Tungsten is harder and supposed to be more scratch-resistant than titanium, but it is quite a bit heavier. This bothered him at first but he’s gotten used to it:

My wedding band is a 2mm shared-prong half-eternity with 11 moissanite stones:

If you want a a precious metal ring for your hubby and you’re, check out e-wedding bands. All their plane bands are made by die strucking and not casted, which means it’s stronger.

I totally get wanting a cheaper wedding band and upgrading in the future mentality- the matching band to my ring was sort of meh and $3200. I ended up ordering this beauty! I was a bit hesitant to order a ring from etsy but this seller was awesome! She worked out a deal for me that I ony had to spend $300, and I am really impressed with the quality. there alots of other options in her shop you might like, I would order with her again in a heartbeat.

cls9q:  I really love that V-prong band you shared! It is so pretty and delicate! Here is what my DH and I have!

DH’s band is a cobalt comfort fit with a textured look for around $350 and my band is just white gold for $195.

cls9q:  Here is my set, plain band with a double milgrain edge. I had mine custom made since the milgrain is yellow gold and the ring is white, but a single milgrain edge band is easy to come by in a jewelry store and I think it looks great! Also my band is 1mm wider than my ering bc of the double milgrain it had to be 3mm, so this was a personal choice.

Sorry I cant rotate or crop the picture…also my Fiance chose a 18k hammered band which was quite pricy bc it was 18k. It was important to both of us that the metal used for our rings was a precious metal, and in his culture 10k gold isnt “real” gold-so 18k it is!

cls9q:  Following this! I have a very similar e-ring in white gold and I’d love to see the bands people pair with it. Especially the one you posted! (v prong or whatever it’s called lol)
