I’m sorry! Isn’t it amazing how much drama comes with wedding planning! I don’t think it’s avoidable. But I’m sure when your wedding day arrives, it will truly be YOUR DAY. I’ve vowed to not let things bother me relating to wedding planning. If someone doesn’t want to come becase they’re mad at someone or some other silly reason, I’m gonna let it go. I know not everyone can do that, but remember that good or bad, when that day is over, it will be you and your husband, and that’s the mors important thng!!!!!

I am sorry. I know what you’re going through. my sister had the same problem and my Future Mother-In-Law had an issue about her “grandchildren”, but i think you have to stand your ground. your sister will come around and eventually understand (it’s 27.95/child to have them at my reception). and maybe you should tell her “it would cost me $30/child to have kids there”

I’m sorry you feel so overwhelmed & like everyone is against you. Don’t let these bumps in the road take away from your upcoming nuptials & marriage! This is your day as a couple… enjoy it!

I think its actually hilarious that your caterer claimed you were the first person in 20 years to ask for a tasting… yeah. right. Don’t stress, they won’t ruin your food just to spite you, they’re professionals & their rep is on the line!

As for your sister, can you clear something up for me?? You aren’t inviting your nieces or nephews to the reception? Do you have A LOT? Or would it just be her kids? I seriously couldn’t imagine not having my nieces & nephews at our wedding… but that’s just me. I understand if there are like 10+ though.

I think she meant that her sister is the only one really complaining. We flat out told everyone that we’re not having kids at our wedding. I wouldn’t care so much if there weren’t like a billion of them and I’d even invite them, but there are a few that I DO NOT want at the wedding, so it’s just not going to happen.

I don’t know if this will make you feel any better about the volcano, but unless she’s in the UK or Iceland, everyone else has been keeping their airports open.  The UK keeps having to close since they’re closer, and they’re smack in the wind direction.

It will boil over and everything will be okay. In the end, you will marry your fiance who you love!
