Yes… they are very similar, but is it worth you wasting emotion and sanity? Probably not.

It is kinda cruddy she took your ideas, but it does not sound as though she will admit it, so all you can do it move on thinking to yourself that you sure had great invites and style for her to want to steal the ideas…

They do look an awful lot alike to just be a coincidence.

I’m sorry this happened if I were in your shoes I’d be troubled too.  But look at it this way she can lie to you all she wants but deep down both she and you really know the truth.

Damn that sucks, she definitely copied. At least you know you have a good idea! But yeah, she should have just told you that she copied your ideas, sheesh!!

That’s too bad.  I guess you’ll have to chalk this one up as a learning experience.  Actually two! 1)  Have everyone pay for your professional time, unless you have already made up your mind to give your time (and the resulting product) as a gift.  2) Be careful about what you say/share with your friend’s fiance.

I’m sorry. Yes, they are the same thing. But this is not worth your energy. Take the compliment and move on with life. This is such a dumb thing to work yourself up over In My Humble Opinion.

She copied yours, but the problem is what exactly? If you didn’t want her to use your ideas,  you shouldn’t have given her a tutorial. She is probably denying it because of how you are reacting. If my friend showed me how to do something, I would not expect her to get upset with me for then doing it.

Someone being generous with their time to help someone out is certainly not an open invitation to screw them over. I agree it’s never ok when credit due isn’t given especially since it seems that’s all Mrs.Luvs is really looking for.  Your friend’s fiance must have some nerve lying out right when there’s so much evidence staring her in the face.  Like I said, in the end she knows the truth and what she really did.

I’d be super pissed as well, but as others have said it the end it won’t be worth getting angry over. Just be careful what details you share with her from now on. That’s what I’m doing with a “friend” of mine who’s borrowed a couple of ideas so far. I’m done with sharing details.

Your invitations are very lovely though!

Yes, she definitely copied, but unless you like drama I really don’t see the point in making a big huge deal about it.

Really, so what if they are simillar. There are worst things to be upset about.  It isn’t like you trade marked it.  Hate to tell you but a lot more things can go wrong and prob will go wrong with planning a wedding. I have learned not to sweat the small stuff.

Yeah they look similar.. but you did teach her how to do them and she could have liked yours, and not even realised at the time that hers looked so close to yours.

Is getting the credit worth getting upset over? Just be happy your friend also has awesome looking invites.
