I think you could absolutely wear a veil.  With that dress I would consider a fingertip veil or an elbow length.  I also think that a cute bubble veil would be cute with it.

I LOVE your dress.  I love boat necks.  I have a similar situation.  I’m doing a high, big bun with a very short (hits between my shoulder blades) veil coming from under the bun.

@redrocksgirl:  Just saw your post…I made mine.  It’s easy-peasy to do a simple gathered comb w/o trims and such even if you don’t really sew.  My alterations woman cut the curve “just so” for me free of charge.

You can buy a (metal) comb for $5 and mock up different lengths of veils w/ cheap organza (another $10?) and try them on w/ your dress if your dress shop doesn’t have ones that you want to try on w/ your dress.  Then you can make something nicer or look for that length on etsy, etc.

@redrocksgirl: You can go and try them on at any bridal store, then you can find something like it online.  Also, there are some consultants that are unusually good at choosing veils.  I recommend Occansey Designs, she is really good and her prices are low.  The more I look at your dress, the more I think a bubble veil would be really cute with it.  The top of the dress reminds me of this:

@tksjewelry:  I absolutely agree!  I think a bubble veil would look amazing with your dress!
