So after trying on various cheap wedding bands Darling Husband and I agreed that we prefer a little more bling.
Here is my issue. I have tried a 4mm .25 point band and it overwhelmed my 1.5 solitaire. I have also tried a 2.5 mm band and it was not enough.
I dobt know if I should go with a 3.5 mm .15 point band or a 3mm .10 point band. I can’t try either on those sizes on since I live in a super small town.
i am looking at a 3/4 enternity shared prong or u prong setting and my ring size is 6.5.
Any ideas or pictures ?

Personally, I would go for the 3 mm band, but then I don’t know what style you want. Could you share a picture of your engagement ring so there is an idea of what you are after? 🙂

I agree with KittyNoire… a 3 mm is a good size — substantail, but not overpowering. I have had an excellent experience with Gagik (MasterJeweler) on Etsy. His diamonds are VERY nice and workmanship is great. He is very accommodating and offers 100% refunds for 15 days for any reason whatsoever. I will link some that you may be interested in… If you like the style, but it’s not in a 3/4 eternity or you would like a different metal, he will make it for you as you wish. 🙂

https://www.etsy.com/listing/106015024/14k-white-gold-u-shaaped-single-prong?ref=shop_home_active_2 (this contains 3 mm stones, and could easily be done in a double prong or u-prong setting)
Also, you will need a spacer (1mm) so the girdles of the diamonds don’t eat away at your ering.
Hope this helps! 🙂

Beautiful ring! I agree – the 3mm should be a nice compromise between the 2mm that was too dainty and the 4mm that was overwhelming.
