Obviously the more elements (pieces) to your invitations the more expensive it is. You can look here http://www.minted.com they have some good stuff. We’re just going to be sending out an invitation and having all the rest of the information on our website at http://www.weddingjojo.com Much, much, much cheaper!

It will depend on the printing type and paper stock.  You can always get cheaper invites, but sometimes the paper feels really cheap.  When you  compare prices make sure to compare the paper stock and how they are priniting them.  Some methods of printiing like letterpress can be more expensive.  If they are made well and look expensive, 5.25 is not bad for all the pieces.

I would say it’s not bad, but I would check out vistaprint – I got mine there, they were pretty nice & super cheap – you can find 50% off codes just googling.

I’m going to DIY mine because I want a super simple design and will have several inserts. It’s going to take some work but I’d rather spend time than money!

Mine are going to price out at $1.79 each (not including postage).

I think that $5.25 for three pieces plus envelopes is a good deal. Something to think about is the added cost of the postage (so $.44 more each) and if the directions/accommodations card is necessary. If it’s not, then it might be more cost effective to leave them out.

We went a mix-and-match route. We got our main invitation professionally designed. Our designer gave us the image file, at which then we turned into our own RSVP and rehearsal dinner invites (those ones we only gave to the family). We printed those through an online printer and got them printed for about $70 total for both on similar paper. We got some great feedback on it!
