SimplyUnique021:  I would want a DOC from in/around my area because they would have the contacts and knowledge of who’s who and what’s what. I wouldn’t want to “train up” a DOC in my area per se. Can you give us an idea of where you are and where you’d like to reach out to? Are you in PA but want to reach out to new markets in VA? If so, that’s a big leap, geographically and perhaps even a bit so given regional cultures.

SimplyUnique021:  As long as you are familiar with the area. I live in Dallas but my DOC is from Austin. She comes to Dallas fairly frequently and is familiar with the area/venues/vendors. She is much more affordable though than DOCs in Dallas.
