What happens to the doves after they are released? That’s the only thing that worries me…

I could take it or leave it. But my venue actually offers to release several doves at our ceremony, so I’m going to let them. I need to get my money’s worth, right?! The pictures were pretty cool. But I wouldn’t pay for it if I had to.

the event planner at my venue told us a story about a couple who did from a rooftop building….turned out the doves had had their wings clipped……….

just sharing so you are sure to ask.

Personally I wouldn’t do, I would be worried they would poop on guests as they are flying .

I guess if they don’t have problems finding their way back then I don’t have a problem with it. lol that makes me sound nerdy, but that’s the only thing I would worry about as a guest. That yes it looks nice but I’d worry about the birds lol. But if they can find their way back no problem and it’s something you really want then go for it.

Again with me being all about the birds (sorry!) …but I think that’s sad that they don’t get fed for 24 hours just so they can perform nicely… I personally wouldn’t support that kind of business.

I would be worried about the doves, too, as a guest. It seems cruel that they would be locked up in a tiny box for that reason, but I really don’t know anything about it, so I’m just making assumptions!!

What about a butterfly release instead?? That could be beautiful, too.
