I am not sure what to get my Bridesmaid or Best Man. I would like to get them something nice/different than the norm but not too costly…I am having 8. Just wanted to know what everyone else got their Bridesmaid or Best Man.

Thank you! I’m sure they would be tired of anything wedding by then! Although i have been the one doing everything, I haven’t asked for much help except from my fiance and Mom. My parents were the only ones that were there when I went dress shopping. My Maid/Matron of Honor showed up but when we were about to walk out…

What kind of budget are you looking at?
I think a GC would be nice with a nice note, a nice bottle of wine, some gourmet chocolates from a local candy shop, taking them all out for pedicures, etc.

I’m not sure about budget. You gave me some really good ideas though. I have been seeing people do gift baskets or bags of some kind filled with goodies. I never would have thought of that. Who doesn’t like a nice bottle of wine! Anyways, I say I don’t know about the budget because I don’t know what I should expect to spend. I saw the normal gifts through some websites, the initial bags, ID jewlery boxes, etc, but I wanted something different for them. Plus I have never been involved in a wedding or even been a part of one and I am the only girl in my family so this is all new to me. I was thinking for sure the pedicures though…
Thanks for your advice!!

I am having the same problem for my bridesmaids, I’m having six so I think the first part is set a budget for the gift, because then you multiply that by however many is in your party. It can get pretty pricey.
For a wedding I was in I received A sweet pea travel sized kit from Bath and Body works. It had the body lotion, spray, and shower gel. She also gave us a hand sanitizer from Bath and Body works in our astrological sign. I got a leo and it had an amazing scent. She gave us two thongs from Victoria Secret, one purple which matched her colors and one that said “Bridesmaid.” She also got us 2 mini black and white damask make up bags. I want to say she spent around $50 on each. But it was a really nice gift!

I also agree with the gift not being totally wedding related. I am getting my BMs some fun statement earrings at Francescas, Charming Charlie, Forever 21 or something of the like. They will cost about $6-$7 a piece and I think its nice to include something wedding related?
I think a gc for a pedicure is a great idea but only if you can choose a salon that is convenient for everyone. My stepmom got me a gc to a salon in Houston and I live in Dallas..

I got my girls a monogram robe, personalized note cards, Burt’s Bee’s, personalized wine glasses, and a bottle of wine. I wanted something out of the box, but nothing really struck me…

I’ve already purchased my (9!) girls a pair of flip flops for the reception and bedazzeled them a little so they’re a little more special then normal flip flops.. I plan to get them each a $25 gift card to the salon we’re getting our hair done it, I figure they’ll really appreciate that! Then I’m going to give them each a flower (handmade) to put in their hair for the day of the wedding, and I’m going to get a cute frame and hopefully get a pciture of me with each of them individually at the shower/bachelorette party and put it in the frame. That’s approximately $40 per girl.. I think that’s reasonable! Old Navy flip flops, Kohl’s frames, flowers from Michael’s.. can’t go wrong!

I got my BMs a Birchbox subscription…they send a small box of makeup/beauty samples to your door every month. You can do 3, 6, or 12 month subscriptions at $10 a month.

My daughter got her girls beautiful robes from Plum Pretty Sugar Loungerie. They really make for good getting ready photos and she got me one too but in ankle length. I know that everyone still uses their robes all the time. They are very girly, delicate, and beautiful! She wrapped them up along with a bottle of wine (she printed her own labels at home). The girls loved their gifts!

Thanks for all the great ideas! I asked my boss what she got her Bridesmaid or Best Man at her wedding and she said she got them all different items engraved that fit each one. She also gave me the idea with an engraved picture frame (or a regular frame) and have a picture taken with each one at the wedding and give to them to put in the frame. I just wanted to share that too with everyone! I think since I am having 8 (and the only reason I have that many is because of my FI) $50 would be a reasonable budget! Oh and I love the bottle of wine idea with the printed labels and flip flops because I’m sure all of them will want to change from their heels! They all are great idea thanks!

For shower gifts I plan on spending about 30$ on each girl and for the wedding 20-40$.
For the shower I am getting them nice makeup kits at sephora.
For the wedding we are doing these great belt buckles with each picked to there own style (etsy shop bmused). It was much easier to do the buckles and do the same for the guys and girls in our wedding party. Ive also made all of there jewelry which is theres to keep and pretty easy to rewear anywhere.
