I’ve done part of the 30 day shred. I really liked it but moved onto using Wii Active.

I started a post yesterday about the couch 2 5k program. I finished my first night last night and I am sooo feeling it today!

My best advice is to pick one time a day you are willing to stick to and plan your workouts ahead of time. For example, running M/W/F, upper body T/Th, etc.

Good luck!!

I’m struggling too! And it sucks lol! My motivation is usually the mirror. I’m thinking about taking some pictures of my self and taping them some where. And adding new photos every week to show my progress!

I’ve never tried the jillian work out, but would love to get one of those dancing work outs!! LIke Ballywood, or salsa and all those other ones lol

It worked sooo well for me. I have it on the training program so it forces me to do the exercises I don’t really like. I am definitely sore after I do a workout. In January I was super dedicated to it and my arms and thighs look FABULOUS!

My only suggestion would be to buy a real resistance band. The one that comes with the program broke twice because it is so thin. Also, the resistance band that comes with it doesn’t provide much resistance, so I picked a new one up at Sports Authority for cheap.

I’m going through the same! I need to lose 15lbs but cannot seem to keep myself going. I go to the gym but not as much as I should. I also bought the 30 day shred actualy this past weekend! So far it is kicking my butt! FYI- don’t be like me I thought I could handle the 8lbs free weights but was dying. So I’m going back to Target and exchanging them for the 5 pounders!

I use the 30 day shred & LOVEEE it! i got all the way to Level 3 but started over after the wedding and pushed the HELL out of myself & I’m really feeling it! I, too, don’t want to lose any weight but it’s getting me very toned! And I’m replacing two meals a day with cereal & it really helps ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s not too hard to do, either, because I LOVE Cinnamon Toast Crunch & that’s what I’m eating!

I’m thinking about getting into some dance classes to give me more motivation ๐Ÿ™‚ Get into girl & make yourself wake up & do it! I just keep telling myself that talking about it & not doing it isn’t getting me ANYWHERE…so I just wake up early & bust it out…it’s only 20 mins!!!

@Lees: Careful about replacing your meals with cereal. You aren’t getting all the nutrients you need, nor the calories. As soon as you go back to “real” food all that weight is going to be put back on (and Cinnamon Toast Crunch isn’t exactly healthy ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

Babyboo: I’ve been using Special K a lot, too. And that’s actually their diet, I eat Special K in the mornings & Cinnamon at night, but it’s not always necessarily. But Cinnamon Toast Crunch is def. a lot healthier than french fries & burgers that I usually eat! I’m a very picky eater anyway & don’t eat many fruits and veggies, just vitamins…so I’m good! Thanks!!

Hello Date Twin! ๐Ÿ˜€ I have been using the 30 Day Shred and walking, I have a love/hate relationship with Jillian. I love the results but I hate how hard I have to work, haha! I’m considering moving on to level 2 finally but my allergies are killing me so I might not yet. We have a Wii Fit but I’ve only used it once, I just didn’t do as well w/that program but that’s just me! ๐Ÿ™‚

LOL my other motivation is my man…he has actually lost a lot of weight since we first got together, but then he lost almost all of his muscle mass which makes me sad lol he was pretty darn hot when we was working out five days a week.

We’re going to have to get them and have the Dancing Workout Buddies lol

I need to tone up-not loose weight, too. I have been doing yoga for the last several months and it gets the job done. I go at least three days a week. They are set class times so I feel compelled to go.
