In order to truly motivate myself to lose weight, I will be starting a thread where I will be posting my photos of my progress. (or else it is too easy to fall into the trap of not taking action about my weight!!)
Wedding is in October and I would like to lose 10-15 pounds. I am not sure if this is entirely possible (I will be very happy if I can lose 10 but even happier if I can lose 15). I am not even sure how much I weigh (talk about being in denial), I think I am around 118 pounds and I am 5 ft tall.
Heavy thighs run in my family so my goal is just to tone my thighs, and also have a leaner torso (do not want so much back fat/armpit fat spilling out from my dress.) It is becoming harder for me to lose weight since I am getting older.
I am not much of an exercise person but I will force myself to eat better. My biggest weakness: carbs, esp potatoes, and bad things like fries/chips. I don’t care much for sweets so that is not a problem. I also get insane hunger attacks sometimes when I am out and I will end up buying random pastries just to satisfy my hunger. I need to start having healthy snacks in my purse. My goal is to eat as much unprocessed food as possible (which will be good for my skin and hair as well). Some bees have mentioned skinnytaste which I will check out. Budget is tight so WW is not an option for me.
Even though I don’t like to do exercise, I will try to do squats and lift some weights whenever I have time. (I am not a fan of the gym or intense cardio.) Hopefully this will help tone me a bit.
