What about the dress are you second guessing?

It makes your shape look great. Nice hourglass with a tiny waist!

I really like the lace/satin combo too.

Why second guess if you love it?  I think it looks beautiful on you.  How is your timeline for ordering?  Can you wait awhile before you make a decision?  If your not sure you should keep on looking.

It’s really unique and looks great on your shape. I almost bought a similar dress, but ultimately I kept thinking that the top and bottom were from two different dresses.  I could see how you maybe have reservations about it if that is what the issue is.

If your not sure, keep looking. 100% Personal opinion: there does seem to be a lot going on with the dress. It’s beautiful but there are so many different details…Side note, I loved a lot of dresses before I found my “one”. If your having second thoughts before you’ve even purchased you owe it to yourself to at least try on a few more. (Again just my personal thoughts :))

If I am being honest (which you asked for) I don’t love the stark differentiation between the satin and the tulle where the drop waist ends. To me it looks a little abrupt, and I don’t like that aspect of it. I do however like the other elements of the dress…. just wish it was a smoother transition in that area. This whole dress thing is so personal though…. I am sure if i was sitting at your wedding I would just think wow you look beautiful, rather than stare and psycho analyze every detail as we all tend to do here :o) I psyho analyze my own dress every single day….

I think you have a beautiful figure, but the dress doesn’t flatter you quite as much as another dress might. I think it’s a nice dress, but since you’re not sure, I think if you keep looking, you will probably find something you love!

It’s a gorgeous dress, but if you’re having second thoughts then perhaps you should look around a bit more – either to reassure yourself that it’s “the one” or that you would like something else better.

I don’t know that the portion that curves down at the hips is the most flattering design in general, but you really do look awesome in it, so I don’t see anything wrong with that shape for you 🙂

you look great in it…it’s very flattering! personally, i don’t love the stark contrast between the satin and the lace – but i’m not the one getting this dress. it really looks beautiful on you. what exactly are you second guessing about it?

That dress looks beautiful on you, but I would try a few more on if you’re unsure so you don’t second guess yourself for the next year.  Now that someone pointed it out, the satin/tulle transition is a little abrupt.  On first glance though, I looked at the photo and thought you looked absolutely gorgeous :).

I agree with @toile234. I thought the dress looked gorgeous on you at first glance, but the transition is a little bit abrupt. I suggest that you keep looking if you are not sure. Good luck! 🙂

I love the top of the gown and I love the bottom of the gown, but I don’t love them together.  I think it’s lovely and is flattering, and if you love it, you should go for it.  If you hadn’t asked for opinions, I would not be looking at it with such a critical eye and would probably just have thought “oh, what a pretty and unique gown.”

To be honest — the dress is too busy for you.  It took me a few minutes/seconds to really see your truly gorgeous shape, but that doesn’t come through nearly as good as it could because of the dress.  I second what several girls said here — look a little more before deciding!
