So my husband and I have been trying to conceive since October of last year. I was on the birth control pill previous to that. We got pregnant in November 2014, but I had a miscarriage early in. Starting in late January, I started having pregnancy symptoms: nausea, breast/nipple tenderness, swelling of breasts, dizziness, increased smell, started to not like certain foods and gas. My last period was February 1st. No period came in March, but I did have 2 days of extremely light spotting on the 11th and 12th, not even enough to need a pad.
I’ve taken a pregnancy test every week for the 3 weeks, all negative. NOTE: the last pregnancy never showed, but it was somewhere between 6 and 12 weeks so it could have been too early. Since the light bleeding, the nausea has subsided. I only get it a few times a day, very brief. Rarely get breast tenderness but they are still swollen. Smell and diversion of foods still there. Recently, my mid-upper back has started to hurt. The last month, I’ve noticed my belly slowing getting bigger. I think it’s water retention, if anything, but it’s defintely something out of the ordinary. I only weighed 135 and am now 145. My face is breaking out and i am ALWAYS tired. I sleep nok-stop whether I want to or not. The simpliest things are exhausting. Also, extremely emotional. I’m not one who cries easily…I cried over a dog dying in a cartoon the other night…yeah, really. With it not showing up on a test and going through all these motions, I’m worried it’s just in my head.
I guess my question is: is it possible to be 7 weeks and not show on a HPT? Has anyone gone through this? Is this all bloating?
PICS: one is me sucking in as much as possible and the other is normal stance

Not that I’ve ever heard of. The likelihood of a false negative upt is very, very, very slim (unless it’s way too early), and you said you have taken several.

I don’t know when you started testing, but after 6 weeks sometimes urine tests won’t show positive because of an HCG variant that messes up the test. So you could try diluting your urine 1:1 or 1:3 with water and test that, it’s one way to get around the late testing issue. Chances are if no test has been positive that you aren’t pregnant. But it does sound like something wierd is going on so I think you should make an OBGYN appointment ASAP to discuss your symptoms.

Maybe it’s time to see a doctor.

Go to the doctor and get a blood test.

I suggest seeing a doctor for a blood test. Or any additonal testing that may need done
It it could be in your head bc you want to get pregnant so badly too. That happens plenty.

I’ve heard of it before. I don’t know why. It was years ago with a friend but she always tested negative but went for the doc had a pelvic exam and then a us and found out she actually was pregnant. Like 5 months along. It was a huge shock and I’ll never forget her coming home from the docs ( I was watching her kids). She also tested positive with her previous children..so who knows what went on.
I would definitely go to a doctors to make sure. Maybe it’s something else that needs medical attention.

The Internet is not going to be able to diagnosis you. Call your doctor.

My friend had a pregancy that did not show in her urine for some crazy reason. Yet it popped up in her blood test. Go to a doctor.

Is there a reason that you have not gone to the dr?
