Hello everyone! My Fiance and I are seriously looking into a destination wedding in Negril. There would probably only be a few friends going as well due to cost and schedules. I definitely want to stay at an all all inclusive, I am leaning towards Couples Swept Away because they offer the free wedding. Does anyone know if there are other, cheaper all inclusives nearby for the guests to stay at? If not in Negril, any other affordable Jamacia locations?

well the Sunset resorts are cheaper than most and still very nice all inclusives, i had my wedding at Sunset Beach Resort in montego Bay. and there are sister resorts in Ochos Rios (Sunset Jamaica Grande) and Negril (Sunset at the Palms). I also think the Riu resorts are nicer, but possibly cheaper than Couples. Same with Gran Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay.

I’d help but I opted for non-all inclusive since the fiance and I prefer to travel that way.
Food is so inexpensive in Negril that it actually works out to cost a lot more for food at an all inclusive. That’s for our dates anyway…

We are getting married at Couples Swept Away in Negril on November 1st, 2011. I’ve had several friends who have been there before and have nothing but great things to say about it! Negril is also said to have the prettiest beaches in Jamaica, so that is why we chose that resort out of all the Couples Jamaican locations.
I didn’t think it was that expensive. We are staying 8 nights I think, and the cost was approximately $3700, including flights. We went through a travel agent since we have never travelled outside of the country before and wanted to be sure we would help preparing all of the legal documents needed for the wedding.
