Hi ladies. So you may have seen my latest posts about engagement party nails and trying to find that perfect nail colour etc well I’ve found it 😀 I went to Sally’s last week they had a 3 for 2 deal on China glaze nail varnishes so I treated myself to a few (slight exaggeration lol) I saw the bright neon barbie pink called pink voltage and its gorgeous I absolutely love it 😀 I was originally leaning towards a pale/light pink shade but this neon pink has defo won me over I love it 😀 xo
What do you think? By the way I used the gelous base coat and in a hurry top coat from american classics and the glitter top coat is from opi xo

I would consider your nail shape more “almond”. It’s definitely not stiletto. I do like this color though. Hate the glitter nail. I’m assuming they’re sloppy because you were just trying to get the picture and they’ll be cleaned up for the actual party?

I like it, but I like bright nail colors. Why not. I definitely wouldn’t go with any more pointy than that though- I am not a fan of true stiletto nails.

You seem determined to ignore all the feedback in your previous post, that those are not stilletto nails.
If you like bright colors, the color is fine. Just be sure to clean up the overage on your cuticles and skin before your engagement party.

I’m confused, are you going to get stilletto nails or are you asking if you should get stilletto nails? I like the pink, not a huge fan of glitter though. Pink is my go to nail color and OPI is a quality polish (usually)!
ETA: Nevermind I remember your previous thread.

Why not spend time doing your nails properly, then come back with photos.
These “rushed jobs” which you share will only result in you being advised to go to a professional…

Thanks for the comments everyone yes those nails were a wee bit rushed lol I’ll defo do them better for my engagement party and I know they are not the length I want them to be yet but they will be x

I like the color, but those aren’t stiletto nails.

Wasn’t there like a 7 page thread about this before? About that not being stiletto nails? About 87000 people said “Those aren’t stiletto!” Why do it again?
You’re going to get the same response..

I recommend that you go to a professional and get acrylic nails applied. It’s your engagement party and you want your hands to look perfect. This is not the time to DIY.

I like the pink. Love hot pinks but definitely don’t love stiletto nails. I think they’re ugly (just my opinion. I like natural looking nails with polish on them

I like the color! But I don’t like the shape. When’s your engagement party? Unless you have a month to grow out, I’d go with just a round nail.

Please stop trying to make us all agree that those are stiletto. It’s like the word ‘fetch’: it’s never going to happen.
If you don’t want to do acrylics, just give a nice squ-oval or almond shape to them.

Wow people are being snatchy today! Nice color. Thanks for sharing bee! I didn’t realize everyone on the bee also spotlights at their local nail salon. Yeesh ladies, remove the claws from op’s back, or should I say stilettos??
