Don’t be nervous! I’m sure if this is the church your fiance grew up things will go well. My fiance is Presbyterian and I am Catholic and we just started pre-cana. Basically the first session the priest just told us about the Saturday sessions or Engaged Encounter, gave us the online codes for the FOCCUS test, talked to us about the upcoming sessions with him and talked to us about the meeting with the music coordinator and organist and the rehearsal preferences. Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

Don’t stress…the deacon isn’t there to grill you or your Fiance. They just have formalities they need to get through. Paper work, questions, etc.  The things he will ask are things I’m sure you’ve talked about with your Fiance.

I agree with the others- no need at all to be nervous. Priests are just people. And if you are still nervous during the meetings, just let your fiance do most of the talking 🙂
