I stopped into a small salon with Future Mother-In-Law and found a dress that I really love. It’s very affordable and everything seemed great. But I’m suspicious about a couple of things…the dress didn’t have any tags (no size, no price, no designer, nothing!) The shop owner told me it was a Demetrios dress, but I haven’t been able to find it in their catalog (or ANY where on the internet!!) She also said that Demetrios doesn’t use style numbers, they use names, but I’ve found that they do use style numbers. Now, most of the reviews I found online of the shop were good, but some were very very bad and I’m worried that things aren’t going to go smoothly. Should I duck and run and get a dress I only like half as much somewhere else, or stick with what I’ve found??

Why not shop around? If you are slightly nervous about this salon, then go try some other ones out. You might even find something better, who knows

I would keep shopping. This is one of the most important, and expensive purchases you’re gonna make. Don’t hand over the cash if you’re not comfortable with what you are hearing from the salon.

do you have a pic I can try to help i just bought a demetrios dress and I am obsessed with demetrios! The only advice i can give is that go on the demetrios website it will show where there dresses are sold if the store you went to is not on this list I would be worried. The only places i know that sell demetrios is macys and ofcouse brides by demetrios.

You can check with the designer and see if they are a certified seller of their line?

You have lots of time. I would keep looking. It is actually illegal to sell something without the fiber information, country of origin, etc.

I would avoid that place and keep looking.
