I remember reading that one company hand picked the moissy for their customers, and that they picked the whitest/most sparkly one.. What company is this?
I wish there was a site like james allen for moissys!
I looked into moissaniye briefly before SO steered me back into the direction of diamonds, but I kept finding myself turning down excellent cut diamonds because they didn’t sparkle enough :p
I guess you can say I’m in love now! Where is the best place to buy it?

Schubach’s will hand pick your stone! Beth has the patience of a saint 🙂 Alot of jewelers will too. My stone was hand picked through a jeweler out of several batches. I couldn’t be happier. I. Just. Love. It!!!

Mine was bought from Moissanite Co. and I couldn’t be happier with it! I got a 1.5 carat unenhanced moissanite and it is perfect! I’ve heard that Moissy Co. only buys the best of the best when it comes to the stones.

I’ve had such great experience with Schubach when I was trying to help my cousin buy her moissy e-ring. 🙂 Beth picked the whitest stones upon request.
With MoissaniteCo, I only had experience buying a pair of earrings, but it was quick and painless. 🙂

Beth from Schubach’s hand picked the forever brilliant OEC moissy I use to have. Most of the time it was pretty white, but it did show some warmth in certain lighting which is the nature of the stone.

I agree, Beth from Jos. Schubach hand picks the stone for you. You tell them what you want or looking for and she will do it! I love my stone/ring.

Like PP’s said, I have heard the Beth picks really great stones. I got mine from http://www.moissaniteco.com/ and I think it looks great! It is moody, sometimes really icy and soemtimes it shows warmth, but that is the nature of the stone. I have an 2mm OEC FB. The OEC cut also tends to have chunky flashes of color (in diamonds as well), but I love it!
I honestly think the “disco ball effect” in some lighting (mostly overhead flourscent) is more noticable than the slight color changes.

I’ve purcahsed from MCo and Schubachs, and I’d go with Schubachs first. Beth does an EXCELLENT job.
