Bit of a background:
I have been dress shopping before (with my mother, mother in law, and future niece), and had an awful experience. It was later at night, we waited a half hour after our appointment time before we even had a consultant, and then the consultant didn’t listen to me at all when I said that I wanted to try different styles because I had never tried dresses on before. We were only there for a half hour before I was just done.
Now tomorrow, I am going dress shopping again. I made the mistake of talking about it with my mother in front of other people, so now one of my aunts, and some of my cousins are coming along with us (6 people+me). I’m getting a bit nervous about going because I had such an awful experience last time, there are a lot of people, and we are going in the middle of the day on Saturday.
On top of that, I’m nowhere near where I want to be weight wise, which is making me extremely self conscious. If anyone has any suggestions as to how to manage my nerves/stay positive, it would be greatly appreciated!
