So I made the ultimate decision a month ago to cancel our dj, I got laid off from work and we had to cut money where we could. My step father owns dj equipment from when he did it back in the day so we have burned over 4 hours of music including special songs (dollar dance, first dance, mother son, etc etc) and I have read the countless discussions on here about people who did not have a DJ or a band and just did what I am doing. Only issue is, is I am having a panic attack that its not going to go as planned. My FH doesn’t think people will dance of course I know from previous experience people in my family can get pretty rowdy at weddings dancing wise and I’m just worried its not going to be fun bc the music is just going to kind of be playing.Any advice? Anyone do this and have any helpful hints to how to make it all work.
