Back in November, after a lengthy dress search, I finally found and purchased my dress. I love it. So, why am I nervous to go try on the sample again tomorrow?! I am going in tomorrow to try on some accessories with it, to make decisions on jewelry, veil, belt, etc.
I know I love my dress. I guess I’m just worried that putting it on again, I won’t, I don’t know, won’t feel the same?? Won’t love it as much? Has anyone else had this happen or am I crazy…

@Alleycat: Yess!!!! I actually intentionally DIDN’T try on my dress when I went home this weekend. I’m scared to overthink it!!!! I just need to ignore it and try it on when my wedding gets closer!!!!

I was REALLY scared to make a decision because I thought I was going to doubt myself. So I did make a decision, and now I’m really scared to doubt myself still!!!! LOL.

Man, I flipped out so much when it was time for my first fitting that I called my Maid/Matron of Honor in the middle of the work day in tears, freaking out about it! When the day came, my sister-in-law had to drive me because I was literally shaking. haha
I loved it as much as the first time I had it on. And I loved it on my wedding day. And I still love the photos!
Take a breath, it’ll be awesome!

I think lots of brides worry about the same thing (I did, especially as I saw more and more dresses during the planning process!)… but don’t worry. Assuming you felt great in the dress the first time you tried it on, I guarantee you will get that same awesome feeling the next time you put it on, and fall in love with it all over again.

@Alleycat: I picked up my dress last night and I had the same fears! I worried that it wouldn’t feel like “the one” anymore and I’d spend the next 8 months having dress regret. (And I’ve been SOOO careful not to look at other dresses to avoid that!) But I was worried for nothing – the dress still makes me feel as amazing as it did back when I ordered it and I totally fell in love with it all over again. Maybe I’ll have to get it out every 2 months to remind myself that I love it!

Whew, glad to hear I’m not the only one! When I put it on again, I was still thrilled at how it looked–yay!
