I feel like I symptom spot all the time, but when it comes to actually POAS, I second guess everything! Maybe my O date was different, maybe it’s still too early.

for me, I would rather test and know, then wait and see. But I also know that in the past, even with a BFN, I still didn’t believe anything until AF.

Oh yikes, I was trying to give good advice but I think I would be in the same boat :/

beachbee17:  I’m only on Month #1 of TTC, and was expected to get my period all of last week. When it didn’t come by Friday, Darling Husband and I agreed that I’d take a test. part of me knew that I probably wasn’t since I know my bosy was whcak due to just getting off BC in September, but you never know. It was a BFN, and I ended up getting my preiod on Sunday… but I was still a little nervous to take that test.

I’m hoping to be more on with symptoms and timing for this month, as last month was more a test and figuring everything out.

Good luck!!

I am so glad I am not the only one who is in this position, this sucks! I am only 10 dpo but holy crap this is hard! I’m also in the boat that until AF, I don’t think I am out. I feel like my hormones change quite a bit so almost every month it’s different. I’ve been super emotional with sore BBs the past couple of days.

OP, not to jinx it, but maybe the fact that your don’t feel anything AF or BFP might be a good thing. I’ve read plenty of stories where the fact the some women didn’t get ANY symptoms at all was the indicator to test. Good luck and please update!

beachbee17:  I hear ya completely! First cycle I jumped the gun and tested at 12 or 13 DPO. My heart was racing before and during, then when I got the BFN my heart sunk. I was symptom spotting glaore and convinced myself it was entirely possible. Next day, like you said, AF showed up (and early by my standards). So that made me feel even worse because I had wasted a FRER for nothing. This cyle I won’t test till AF is late… Orig Sunday but I may do Saturday depending on how I feel. That way I will have an extra day to take it in before going back to work no matter what the results are. I’m also trying to not read into my symptoms and just expect AF, it’s made it easier to avoid the temptation of the FRER in my cupboard.

Since you’re already at 33 it’s really hard to say what you should do. But considering it’s now 15 DPO it’s probably a 30 day cycle. I don’t think your luteal phase would be longer if you’re at O-ed wheb you said you did, because that would make it a possible 38 day cycle. If it was 38 I believe you would have ovulated later if I’m not mistaken that’s how it’s “suppose” to work. That breakout though could have also been implantation.

FX for you and keep us posted 🙂

beachbee17:  Hi are we the same person? haha I think I’m CD29, 18 DPO. My O has been pretty odd the past few months. I normally have pregnancy-type symptoms every month, and my cycle can be anywhere from 28-35 days. The past week or so has been a bit different in that my appetite is insane. I also have had some weird nausea (this morning I actually almost threw up while brushing my teeth) and 3 days of very light spotting but that’s not uncommon for me. My hubs wants me to POAS already since we did hit 3 days around when I thought I ovulated, but AF isn’t due til Monday and I just don’t want to spend the money (again) and get (another)  BFN! UGH.

That being said, I’m gonna tell you what I was telling myself this morning – just do it. Better to know and you can always retest later if AF really isn’t coming.  (And don’t worry about it – lots of people aren’t symptom-checking, CM-checking, O-watching ladies like we are and drink and smoke etc before they find out. If you get your BFP just make sure you get back on track  )

Fingers crossed for you! Update us!

I know how you feel. I’m 7 dpo right now and I don’t have any symptoms yet.  I never really have any PMS symptoms either though, not until a few hours before AF comes so maybe I shouldn’t be expecting symptoms. I think I will test on Sunday, at 11 dpo. It’s easier to test on a weekend because I want to keep it a secret from Darling Husband and I don’t want to have to test at work. But I’m afraid to see a BFN. I almost don’t want to test, but at the same time, I need to.

FX for you! I hope you see your BFP on Friday!

beachbee17:  That is one thing I am still working on! I may or may not be known as a “wino” in my circles, so me refusing drinks is pretty suspect. I am right there with ya. The only thing I can think is that the month where I’m like “Absolutely no way am I pregnant” with zero symptoms – that’ll be our month! Definitely update us! I did test last night and got a BFN (not surprised). I’m still having crazy spotting that comes and goes but AF is due Sun/Mon so I guess I’l ljust wait and see. I hope you get yours!!

Aw 🙁 Keep testing and hang in there! I’ve read some people just don’t get positives from urine tests…maybe call your doctor for a blood test if you think you may be? I got AF a day late but it’s been a very weird one, normally I am very very heavy with no appetite and am usually curled up in a ball days 3-5. This time I have kept my crazy nausea (unusual), I’m still peeing nonstop (weird), my flow has been medium at worst with hardly any cramps (I think this is how normal people must feel on theirs but its drastically different from my normal AF). So Idk what’s going on with me but at this point I just give up lol keep us updated!
