That is so exciting!!!! Our wedding isn’t until September, but my Fiance is already saying how nervous he is to talk in front of everyone. I guess my best advice would be to just try to relax, take a deep breath, and focus on just your husband, try to forget that other people are there. Good luck!!!!

My husband likes to say that he didn’t vow anything because he flubbed his supposedly memorized vows at the altar.  Still here 33 years later;-)

YES!  I keep thinking about the walk down the aisle in 2 DAYS, and how ALL eyes will be on me!!  It makes me suuuuuper nervous!  I will definitely feel relieved after the ceremony is over!  Tongue out

I FEEL THE SAME WAY!!! Though I’m more nervous about walking down the aisle than saying the vows. I am also getting married June 19th and I am getting so nervous that the other day when I was thinking about walking down the aisle I had to get up from my desk at work and run to the bathroom – I got SICK!

I would LOVE some advice about how to get over nerves, so PLEASE SHARE!

I would try to see the situation as speaking directly to your Fiance, rather than having to talk in front of a bunch of people.  Try to focus on him rather than seeing everyone around you.  And remember, you don’t have to speak super loudly like you are giving a public speech…you can just speak in a normal conversational tone to your Fiance.

Dont work yourself up Smile when you get to the alter, breathe deep smile and listen close to the officiant so you wont make a mistake. And even if you do laugh it off, heck the president had to repeat part of his oath to office. You will be fine.

I know this is too late for you, but, hopefully this will help others! I found it really difficult and nerve wracking speaking infront of large crowds too. I started to read on public speaking and looking for tips and techniques, I found http://curefearofpublicspeaking.com/ very helpfuly with lots of public speaking anxiety tips and techniques.
