I’ve been a bridesmaids twice. I complained a lot about some of it- but in all honesty, it was a lot of fun. Then again, my friends are pretty chill and laid back, and they have excellent taste, so I don’t end up looking like a walking carpet. 🙂
I’d love to be a Bridesmaid or Best Man again.

I’ve never been a bridesmaid, but my brother is getting married in June and his fiancee (my friend & Maid/Matron of Honor at my wedding) asked me to be a bridesmaid! Yay!

I was Maid/Matron of Honor for my sister’s wedding and I absolutely loved it!!! It probably helped that my sis payed for everything for me but I will be returning that kindness to her when she is my Maid/Matron of Honor. I am also a Bridesmaid or Best Man in a few months for a good friend and I am super excited about it. I love it and feel very honoured that someone wants me to play such an important role on their big day!

I’ve never been a bridesmaid, and I can’t think of a good reason to want to be one. It is not part of my culture, so I never heard of it until I moved to this country. Moreover, it seems more work and inconvenience than anything else.

@CarterLove: I was a Maid of Honor once, and enjoyed the experience. Have never been a bridesmaid.

I’ve never been a bridesmaid but always wanted to be. I’m sure its not all its cracked up to be, but I’d like to do it once

@CarterLove: I’ve been a maid of honor three times and a bridesmaid four other times, so, seven being the number of completion, I was quite happy when it finally was my turn to become the bride!

sure! I would love to help my friends plan their weddings and be involved in the day, no matter what the dress looks like or costs.

I really had no interest in being a bridesmaid. I was asked, but didn’t support the marriage in the least, and was only being asked because the bride didn’t like the best man and the groom didn’t like me. I declined because I in no way wanted to be involved.
I have been asked to be in a wedding. I truly love the couple and they were both in our wedding. The bride has been really easy going so far. The only thing she has asked is that she wants to get our shoes soon, but will more than likely let me put that off until January. I’m not sure how things are going to be as it gets closer. There are a few obligations that I’m not thrilled about as I am pregnant and don’t want to stay at parites until 2am thanks (especially since I will be 7.5 months).
I haven’t done a whole lot for this wedding. I did help the bride pick her dress, but I was also working in bridal at the time and it was a lot of fun. I also helped her/the groom pick out her engagement ring, but that was a tonne of fun.
I dont care to be a bridesmaid again and wouldn’t be hurt if I wasn’t asked. Although I’m sure that I will for my sister, should she ever get married, a few close friends, probably SIL, maybe Brother-In-Law, but it’s nothing that I crave. Nothing cool like the movies.

I have not yet been asked to be a bridesmaid. It would be great to know I’m important enough to be asked.

I have not, because I am the first of my friends to get engaged/married. When my one brother got married, I was ask, but I CANNOT stand his wife (who wanted all these expensive destination parties thrown for her payed by all her maids), so I declined.

I wanted to until I was asked… I am a bridesmaid in 4 weddings this summer and 2 of them are on the same day… (Both brides think I can some how make it work out) I am still months out from the first wedding and I am already over it…

I’ve never been a bridesmaid. If I never get to be one, that’s okay with me, but hopefully my sister would want me to stand up for her if she gets married!

I’ve been a bridesmaid and a Maid/Matron of Honor a few times and I’ve only enjoyed one experience. I would be fine never being a bridesmaid again.

I’ve never been one, either–and since I’m 60, I doubt I ever will be.
