I was just filling out one of those auto forms that have a drop down box for your title…. I instinctively selected “Ms.” and hit tab to proceed to the name field when I thought “WAIT A MINUTE!!” and was so happy to go back and change it to Mrs!
Tee hee! 🙂 Now I have a goofy smile on my face and figured only the hive could relate!

Yay!!! Before we were engaged I always got sooo angry when I couldn’t select Mrs. or I had to select “single.” Yay for the title! 🙂

I know, right!! It’s so much fun! And signing my new last name… love that one. It’s way shorter! I keep forgetting to call myself by my new name, though… oops. It’s such a strange, but awesome, adjustment. 🙂

@piglet_625: I didn’t change my name -so the Mrs. title is all I have! I don’t think I’ve ever used it before (and it’s been six months!) so it had this amazing WOW factor!!

Can I ask a dumb question? If you didn’t change your name, how can you use the Mrs. title? I didn’t change my name, and am still Ms. S. Maidenname. If I called myself Mrs. Maidenname then I would be my mother!
Do you mean you use your Mrs. husbands-last-name socially? I get that a lot already, and am still trying to respond to it more naturally. 🙂

@Phantom: you make a very good point! I never actually thought about it – I just figured I was automatically Mrs. Maidename…. but, you are right – it should be Ms. MaidenName and Mrs. HisLastName. Thanks for clearing that up for me!!!
