I got engaged two days ago, and he gave me a gorgeous ring from Jared’s. Ive only been wearing it two days, havent even had it long enough to do dishes, and the stone has already fallen out. Thankfully it fell out in bed, so i was able to recover the diamond, but now my finger is naked again waiting for my Fiance to take it back to the store. He says he is going to a different store to get me another ring. This stinks!

OMG! I would definitley return it and go to another store! That’s crap.

damn –I’m ALWAYS worried that one day I’ll look down and the diamond will be gone from my ring =/
On the bright side, at least you found it and won’t have to file a claim with insurance—or you may not have even had time to get in insured and then you REALLY would be SOL

That happend to me with diamond studs I Baught myself at my old job but I noticed it was loose and basically reset the stone myself because i know how .. But still I told my boss she was lucky I’m not a customer and I know how to set stones cuz I would be piiiiiiisssed .. That’s what sucks about mass production Jewelry sometimes settings and stones just don’t sit properly and that all should be inspected before going to stores and i also always checked again before letting someone purchase it and leave the store for that reason … Especially because things get dropped onto counters on accident and that can even loosen a stone enough that’s why they use those Mats … Loosing a diamond on any piece of jewelry scares me never mind my e-ring !!

Good thing you have that option so you never have to deal with it again!

i hated the service at Jared’s when we went looking for rings.
Do you have any idea where you’ll get your ring after you return yours to Jared’s?

Aww sad to hear about your diamond falling out. We went to Jared’s and the people were great! I absolutely loved the lady who helped me out and I’ve had no problems with my ring. My center stone stands tall too so it could get caught on things. I have gotten used to wearing it though so it doesn’t bump or catch on things like when I first got it. It’s a really sturdy ring though. I loved my experience so much I am anxious to buy some pearl jewelry from there next.
