jcam13:  Also, trust me, if your office is male dominated like mine is, then no one will bloody notice. My colleague said he liked my new glasses about 6 months after I got them! lol.

I really like the ones you ordered! I think they fit your face great. The runners up are a no go in my opinion, so you made a great choice. I know I freak out whenever I get new glasses and I suffer from buyers remorse until I get used to them.

I think the ones you ordered look great! I think the runner up pair is too rounded on top – it doesn’t flatter you as much.

I recently switched from a smaller frame to a larger plastic frame. I think they’re so common now that they aren’t hipster at all. I also prefer the larger size because I can see more than I could before. My frames were cutting off my vision more before and with the larger frames I have a larger field of vision.

MsBeer:  yes! That was my problem just last month. It’s all hipster /military bcg type glasses and that’s just not for everyone

jcam13:  I like the pair you tried but I think it’s totally common to second guess yourself. You said 7 years.Us glasses wearers have glasses on our faces every single day for years. Glasses become part of us so changing them is super stressful, for me at least. I totally get the second guessing. Ask about the return policy. I know my store had 15 days and they would exchange/refund the full price. I think they look nice but it’s all about how you feel.

MsBeer:  topshop has made it to the US. It’s been in dept stores for a few years but I think standalone stores are nearly here if not already.

fuchsia1027:  Ah really! Wow. To be honest. Topshop is just SOOOOOO over priced here. The clothes aren’t terrible, but other high street stores really rival it in my opinion. Hopefully it isn’t such a rip off over there!
