So glad you got your venue and that dress is so beautiful!  I would definitely wear it in a heartbeat.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with wearing a used dress, it’s such a smart thing to do (especially if it fits you that well)!

Heck yeah! In fact, I am. My dress came from a local bridal consignment shop. It’s beautiful. And I saved money!

This is exactly what I did. It was my super good friend and she is a ‘greenie’ who loves to recycle and wanted me to try it on to see if I liked it. It fit perfectly with no alternations and just my style. We had no repeater guests at my wedding as she was married in another state.  Deciding with priorities in mind on a limited budget, I chose to spend money on other things instead.  I had (just a few) moments of what-ifs and refused to linger at the dress pictures/shops for fear of falling in dress-envy love. ๐Ÿ™‚ I feel really happy with how we were able to stretch our budget in many ways by making this decision. ๐Ÿ™‚

    I think you should.

By The Way, did you know that Mrs. French Bulldog got married at your venue.  (I think).  You should check out her posts.

I don’t see anything wrong with wearing a previously worn gown. I was looking into it as well, but found my dress the first day of shopping. I live in Cardiff, let me know if you want to meet up or exchange ideas! The Rancho Bernando inn is gorgeous! I am so happy for you.

Buying a dress was one my first choices for how to get one! I had trouble finding one that would fit though ๐Ÿ™ because apparently people over 5′ 8″ never sell their dresses, haha. Or at least not within my budget or in my measurements.

If I had found a dress that I was in LOVE with and it was pre-owned, I would absolutely buy it!!

    Congrats – it’s a beautiful dress!
