Hey all,
I am new to Weddingbee! Been visting the site a lot so decided to just become official and create a profile. I am engaged as of September 12, 2010 and my wedding date is June 10th, 2011, 6 months from today! And even though I only have 6 months.. I really don’t have much planning done. Reading many of your posts makes me feel an urgency to get things done. We had a lot of problems finding date that worked, but we finally have a date and place : ) I am a senior in college, so that also contributes to my slow planning process so far, I’m just so busy! But I just went on Christmas break, so I am hoping to get a TON done in the next few weeks.
I look forward to sharing ideas with all of you and gaining inspiration from each other!

Welcome Newb! lol…get it? ahaha!
Congrats on your engagement! I did not have much done at my 6 month mark either. It was that 4 month and week before were things really started cooking 🙂
Do you have your dress yet or an idea of what you are wanting? do you have a theme? details!

@bestbuddies: Thanks for the welcome. haha. It is an encouragement to know others did not have much done either. I do have a place, it’s a community center in Pittsburgh. We liked the idea of supporting a non-profit organization/venue. And they have a very pretty out door pavilion that we are using for our reception site. I also do have my dress! It was the first thing I did because I happened to find a good deal! We have started working on the guest list, and we have a wedding party, but other than that I have nothing done! lol

Thank you all for the warm welcome! Just to provide you with some details..
I am getting married at the Hosanna House, which is a non-profit community organization in Pittsburgh. They have an outdoor pavilion called Sherwood in the Forest Hills which is where our reception will be held. I got my dress at a cute really small dress shop on 88 in Castle Shannon, and I love it! But I really need to start losing weight so it looks good on me!
