This is my first post as I’ve just recently joined the site. Any fellow insomniacs around? 🙂
I am trying to decide between two sets at Berricle, with a few alternatives because I plan to stack three rings. FWIW, I wear a size 6.
I want the third ring to complement the wedding set, but preferably not match exactly. My goal is for the final combo to be believable and kind of classic with just enough bling to warrant a second glance or two.
I’ve narrowed it down to two wedding sets. Then once I decide on the set, I’ll need to choose the third ring that will complement it.
1. First, I’d like to know which set you like better:
The asscher 1.59 ct center stone with 18 3mm princess cut accent stones
or The round 1.03 ct center stone with 14 3.5mm accents
2a. If you like the asscher set, which ring should I add?
The 17 emerald cut channel set 3mm stones
2b. If you prefer the round wedding set, should I choose
The five round cut 4-prong set stones
a second eternity band identical to the one in the set or
a colored band like r775-sp (28 round cut and pave set sapphire, clear) or
r336 (30 pave set black round) for a bit of color. Or are they are too thin and would be dwarfed by stones in the wedding set?
My favorite combinations?
-Asscher set with emerald eternity band. I like the clean lines and the emerald eternity band because it’s different; the 1,5 ct asscher adds a little pop; or
-The round set with the five-stone eternity band. Even though the center stone is smaller than r812, the complete set is a little flashier, I like the side detail on the wedding set and I might be able to add in a colored ring later if I can find one that works.
Wow. Sorry about that the original post was long and confusing! I hope this is better! Thanks for your advice and your time!
