Help is definitely here… some of these bees are awesome. BUT.. they’re going to need a little more info…

What “kind” of help do you need?

If you want people to suggest something specific, like a florist, then you have to tell us where you live. It won’ t be much help for you for me to suggest my favorite florist if you don’t live in Vancouver.

Have you started collecting ideas for the wedding you envision? If not start now. Save pics and ideas in a wedding folder with subfolders for flowers, centerpieces etc. ALWAYS remember to copy the source of the pic or idea so you can rererence the whole article later if you need more information.

I always think the first concrete step after that is deciding your budget.

After that, you can start bringing your vision to life by booking your venues and vendors within your budget.

I would recommend yelp for local vendor reviews.  That is how I found both of the florists I met with.  You do need to go in with a firm budget idea and know the look you are going for. I would also recommend asking about in season flowers and being open to using them to make your budget work.

I got married in San Diego but am from Colorado and have been to a few weddings there recently.  What part are you getting married in? Have you already booked a venue?  Venue and Dress were first on my list but that varies for everyone.

Welcome! I would suggest thinking of a theme or just a basic idea of things you like. For example an item, a color, a dress, a flower… Anything will work! That way, you have something to work with and if you like it enough you can probably plan alot of things based on that “item.” And you have a while, so if you don’t like it a lot you can change your mind. It’s better to change it now than later on down the road.

Happy Planning! : )

Just a word of advice.  I wouldn’t start planning the details like centerpieces etc, until you’ve picked your venue and your colors.  You might want something now, but after you pick your venue you might realize it doesn’t fit at all!  Plus don’t buy stuff!  Just save pictures ๐Ÿ™‚  It will save you alot of money and space ๐Ÿ™‚
