I just got engaged and began looking at venues and really liked Stage 6. I sent an email with my date (9-13-2014) and was told that Abigail Kirsch will no longer be the caterer there after Nov. 2013. I was so bummed. Does anyone know who I would contact to find out who would be taking over after that or if anyone knows anything about this? Any info at all is greatly appreciated.

Could you reply to the email you received to ask your question about who is stepping in to replace her? The other option I could think of is trying Yelp reviews, but since she isn’t leaving until Nov 2013, that may not help. It is also likely that the recruiting for a new person will happen over the course of the next year. Sorry to hear that you’re bummed about her departure, but a venue like Stage 6 (i hope) should have this under control! Best of luck to you!

@pengoala: Thank you for the suggestions.. I sent an email so I’ll see what comes back. I hope she’s not the type to not want to say since another caterer would be her competitor but it’s also weird that the catering relationship is ending there… I’m curious as to why…

OH wow AK just took over for a venue in CT i wonder why they are leaving stage 6? is that space good for ceremonies and then reception transition as well? also any outdoor space / pics by water?
