I like them. Are you having round table or rectangle. Two or three of them going down the middle of a rectangular table would be effective

I love those types of cake stands, and I think it will be absolutely gorgeous. I will say though, macarons can be somewhat of a pain to make and they’re pretty finicky. (my macarons never come out as pretty) definitely make sure you do a test run before you commit to the idea!

@sheepandbear:  to be 100% honest with you (since you asked for opinions), I would be a little confused –  I think you are on the right track (thinking out of the box), but I wouldn’t understand them to be a centerpiece…as an alternative to flowers I would choose candle’s that could add a more romantic vibe and warmth to the room over an edible center
