I just want to say that its amazing the things God can use you for when you just trust him.
When I met my Fiance 4 years ago… He wasn’t a christian. He hated the idea of church and wanted nothing to do with it. If we even so much as walked by a christian book store – he’d make some kind of rude mocking joke about christians. I was worried about getting involved with someone who wasn’t a christian.
But I loved my then boyfriend a whole lot so i just I kept praying for him and I planted whatever seeds God gave me but ultimately – I trusted Him and I left it all in His hands.
Fastforward to now…
He’s been going to church with me just about every sunday since we got engaged and we even somehow inadvertantly got involved in a couples small group bible study. I saw his opinions start to change and he had become more involved and comfortable with the entire idea. But I wasn’t sure if he quite “got it” Last night after getting home from small group we carried on the discussion of what they were talking about at small group – and I asked my Fiance if he was saved – if he asked Jesus into his heart and his answer was an enthusiastic “Yea!”
The conversation even went to my Fiance encouraging me to get to know God better… the same thing he had basically discouraged a few years back.
To know that my Fiance is going to be going to heaven with me after all we’ve been through. And knowing that God used me all along to lead my Fiance to Him. – is just about the best feeling in the world. And I praise God for that.
Had to share! 🙂

Soooo exciting! Reminds me of a couple at my church. The lady was a Christian her whole life, but wouldn’t date her now husband because he was opposed to Christianity. He wanted to date her for a long time, but knew she wouldn’t budge on that issue. He gave up and they went their seperate ways for college, where he became a Christian. They met up again by pure chance, and are now married with three beautiful children. And get this–he’s our worship leader! :]

WOOHOO!! That is so exciting! God gives us the deepest type of unfailing love, it isn’t until we feel His love that we can truly love anyone else!

Aww…I got teary eyed! Its always so exciting to hear about someone accepting Jesus into their life! Yippee!
If you bees could pray for me and my Fiance (who is not yet a christian) that I may be an example to him and that through me God may work on his heart that someday he will also accept Jesus I would greatly appreciate it!
