hi bees-
this is the first month my husband and I are going to TTC the entire month. We aren’t charting or temping and instead are just going to “let it happen”. (Im on day 4 of my cycle) I’m SO nervous and it feels a little surreal. We aren’t telling anyone IRL and there are moments where I can’t believe my life has come to this point already! Anyway, just wanted to share, feel free to tell me where you’re at in your cycle and what you’re going through!

I’m on cycle #3, TTC baby #2. It’s a little more stressful than I expected since with DS we weren’t trying. I’ve discovered through OPKs that I ovulate on CD 17-18 and not the normal CD14 so I’m nervous that doesn’t leave enough time for implantation since my cycles have been 25-27 days.
Good luck on your first month TTC! It’s and exciting process for sure 🙂 just be sure to enjoy it!

MrsPierce2014: My husband and I are doing a no charting type cycle this month too! I’m on CD 11 today. This is our 7th or 8th cycle and I am very type A about trying to get pregnant. So we figured we’d take a break from knowing the behind the scenes info from using OPKs and just give it a go — hoping it might reduce any stress that could have prevented me from getting preggers.
Here’s to hoping for all of us!

meadow_jersey: we are doing the same thing! We decided to stop charting, temping, OPKs etc. I think I’ll still have a good idea of when I’m ovulating from CM. I’m hoping it will make everything less stressful…. I think the stress really does affect me!

SouthernSunshine: It’s funny you say that, I hear the second baby is harder to conceive for some people, perhaps because the first time you werent waiting? 🙂 How many days is normal for implantation? I never thought of that!
meadow_jersey: I am so type A as well, so I am afraid to jump into the charting thing. I might get obsessive! lol
hollyberry4: good for you! The less stress the better.
thanks for sharing ladies!! I hope this month is a good one for us 🙂

I’m on cycle #4 (2nd charting), 11DPO.. I really had to force myself this morning to NOT take a test. I peed as quick as I could & rushed out of the bathroom lol Trying to hold off til Christmas morning, but might cave and test the morning before. I haven’t really had any true symptoms, just the typical symptom spotting.. so I feel like it could go either way. If it is negative we’ll be bummed, but we know it’s still early & we’ll just keep trying.

MrsPierce2014: Hey I’ll be on cycle 8 next time we TTC. Been trying on and off since July last year. We stopped April of this year as I found charting, temping exhausting. I had an ultra-sound a couple of weeks ago and waiting for the Dr to discuss the results with me. Like you I can’t believe I’m at this part of my life, it’s taken me a while, I turned 34 on Friday so time isn’t on my side. Best of luck to you!

CatyLady: do you mind me asking what made you get an ultrasound?

MrsPierce2014: I ant to the doctors and said how I’ve felt for a while; very tired, in recent months aches and pains around my pelvis area throughout the month enough to wake me up, clotty (TMI sorry) periods all of a sudden, thinking I’ve finished bleeding for it to all of a sudden come (embarrasingly caught me out at work, luckily it was end of the day and no-one saw) I also mentioned no luck when we were TTC. The doctor gave me blood tests for most things and then requested an Ultra-sound too. I actually only rang this morning for the results and was told I need a telephone appointment but assured me not to worry, so I guess what it maybe is obviously fixable.

X0JLYNN03: It’s so hard not knowing and not checking! HAD AN OOPS LAST MONTH BEFORE WE WERE GOING TO TTC. The waiting period was HARD.
