There’s no way I’ll win, but I might join! I haven’t been running since October and I want to get back into it.

@inspiredcreations:  So basically its for people running at the several miles per day level? I’m not there yet, so I don’t think I can join, but am training for my first half in October…lol…sorta far off but you know what I mean!

I joined!

@ChuckNorris:  I’m not quite there either. Maybe we can compete against each other! I haven’t run since October, and the most I’ve ever run at once was 5 miles — it only happened one time. I’m usually more around 2-3 miles at a time, but I’ll probably start off slower since it’s been a while. And when I was running, it was usually only once or twice a week, if that Frown

Hopefully this will get me back in the swing of things. I’ve been so lazy lately!

I only run every other day (do circuit training the other days). I know I wouldn’t win since I’d be at like 6-8 miles per week. Would everyone be way out in front of me?

@SuperKate:  I definitely wouldn’t be. I’d be around the same mileage as you if I really stuck with it, but I’ll probably come in at less.

@CurlyTop24:  Okay, I will join! I do at least 3 miles every day walking/running, but sometimes 4-5… Squueee, I’m excited!

@ChuckNorris:  with 3-5 miles a day, you’ll be a definite contender! With the monthly challenges, I’ve seen my monthly mileage go from 20 miles (back in June) all the way to 100+ miles a month!  No matter the level, it’s fun to see everyone’s runs and keep each other motivated 🙂

@SuperKate:  It’s not cut-throat competition, and we’d be happy to have you! The tracking tools with dailymile are really helpful for monitoring your personal fitness and progress, so it’s much more than just a challenge.

@inspiredcreations:  Wow, I’m excited! So how do I log the miles, does it automatically sync to my Nike+ or Charity miles app or is it just on the honor system? haha.

@ChuckNorris:  Honor system, as far as I know.  Once you’ve logged in, on the home page you’ll see “Add Workout” at the top left; click that and you can populate the fields, choose your sport, add notes, etc.  There’s also an app for droid and iphone to log miles from your phone.
