So, you might recall my dream shoe discussion a few days ago. Well, I thought I had narrowed down my shoes to a couple from Zappos and Shoes.com, where I got a great deal. Purchased both since I figured, hey, free shipping both ways – will return them if I don’t like:
Badgley Mischka Randee
Then I found out about Hey Lady shoes. OMG, cute AND comfy? Definitely a little pricey, but not Louboutin-level pricey. It turns out they’re having a 20% off sale that ends TODAY (promo code: Project Fabulousness). And I am thinking of getting a pair. I’ve also been wondering if I should balance out the coffee color in my dress with white/ivory shoes instead of a nude/coffee color, since after all I’m a bride! I’m thinking of also wearing a white/ivory veil and white/ivory party gloves.
I’ve narrowed it down to three possible Hey Lady shoes.
Twinkletoes (other pictures of these lean more toward the coffee color)
Straptease (Think they’re gorgeous, but also vaguely… like sneakers?)
Am I crazy? Should I just wait for the top 2 to arrive? I just don’t want to miss 20% off Hey Lady shoes if they’re want I’m going to end up with anyway. Here’s my dress and the original, unattainable dream Loubotins ($1500!) that I’m now kinda over:

I personally prefer both the Badgely Mischkas and the Ninas to any of the Hey Lady shoes.

You have great taste! I was in love with Hey Lady shoes. Especially the last pair. They never had my size at the time so I strassed a pair of Martinez Valero that I found on sale at DSW.

I LOVE the Badgley Mischka’s. I would stick with those. Of the “hey lady” shoes I really like twinkletoes. The others really don’t do it for me.

I also LOVE the Badgley Mischka shoes! So that is what I voted for 🙂

I love the Bagley Mischka ones with your dress! Beautiful!

Ugh those louboutins are to die for!!! But I personally like the randee ones the best out of realistic dreams!!! Is your dress full length??

Dress is tea-length! And I am known for my fervent shoe love. It would be a tragic waste of this shorter dress to NOT wear the perfect shoes, whatever they are…

@trugem: Those are gorgeous!
You’re all talking me off the Hey Lady ledge, ha. Thank you. I’m falling in love with the Randees (and my choice of a darker shoe) all over again. I’ve just read reviews that say the Randees are unstable or hard to walk in so I fear I’ll break my ankle or something, even though I am an expert in heels! Wish I could stuff NASA memory foam into the Randees… I’ll probably get yellow dance shoes or something for the reception. (Or… who knows? Maybe the Ninas will make good dance shoes).

I’m not a fan of any of the Hey Lady shoes, but everyones tastes are different. I’m sure you will rock whatever pair you choose.

I love the Badgley Mischkas, but they look like they would hurt after 30 minutes of wearing them!

UPDATE. The Randees and the Ninas arrived in the mail. The Ninas, I tried on first. They are gorgeous and fairly comfy. But the Randees. My god. They are the most beautiful shoes I’ve ever seen in my life! And not uncomfortable at all! And easy to walk in!!! No looking back, Mr. Louboutin, I’ve got my Badgely Mischkas and they rock!!!

@noodlesploosh:is it weird that I am so excited that you are going to be wearing those badgely mischkas? I have loved them for so long but I am a klutz in 1″ heels so you can only imagine what would happen if I tried to walk around in those…not to mention I’d be uber tall. congrats on finding the perfect shoes!
