Wear your dress. You picked it for a reason!

Wear your grandmother's dress. This is too good of an opportunity to pass up!

@Keiramenna:  wow amazing and so speical just that you know her happy life started with that dress, and you stem from the choice to marry your grandfather and now you get to walk down the isle in the same dress but made to your styling so amazing

my grandmother got married in a nottingham lace tea length gown with a bordelo of the same lace(it infact reminds me of kate middletons gown but not so long) i would kill to even have piece of the lace your so lucky to get to do that ๐Ÿ˜€ it looks amazing

@Keiramenna:  I really love using that generation as who you want to follow… I almost wanna say they loved harder back then its like they just loved deeper

my grandfather passed at 47 my grandma was still young and she never even went on another date … one day i asked her why when i was a lil older she said how could i ever date another man when I had him, he was perfect who else could i ever want(even though he been gone for a very long time)

I know it was beautiful its sad they dont have it anymore no one saved it I would seriously kill to have it even a scrap of lace to just make something with (i saw this cool thing on pintrest where they take the lace and make a charm with it and then you wear it to have it close to you that day)

its really so wonderful you get to have her dress made to you and for now its soo amazing I have to say I am a little jealous

@Keiramenna:  right that was weird. I had only read your first post…didn’t realize you had given an update until I saved it. ๐Ÿ™‚ You should do another update once the sweetheart is in place. Would love to see how that turn out with the buttons on the front of the dress. Glad your grandma was so open to you redesigning the neckline.

@Keiramenna:  This whole thread just makes my heart happy. I think it is terrific that you chose to wear your grandmother’s gown. It is going to be stunning when all the alterations are done and I am sure you will be radiant in that gorgeous “bridal pink” beauty.  Cannot wait for another sneak peek photo update!!
