@FutureMisses:  If you want something really simple you could get a plain solitaire like mine. Its pretty simple, which is what I like about it, but it may not be what you’re looking for. I would go to a store and try things on, just because I think things look different on other people’s hands vs mine. And I have a 1ct asscher, which should face up around the same size as your princess cut.

@asscherlover:  omg I love your Asscher! I want one so bad but the 1ct ones I am looking at are $6000 + unset…and they look really small (smaller then my 1ct princess)…I would like one at least 2ct but that is wayyyyyy over my budget…yours is a healthy size do you mind if I ask you how many ct it is?

@FutureMisses:  I have a 1ct princess right now that I am saving to have a double halo and plain shank setting used to set it as I am not happy with my solitaire and have always wanted a halo since I was little….bling it out..thats my motto lol

@GelaMac:  Mine is actually 1.06 ct. I’m a size 4.5 so it looks pretty big on my finger, but it definately faces up smaller than a round. Its 5.4mm. I originally asked for 1/2 carat just because I have small fingers and thought that would result in me getting engaged more quickly lol. But I’m glad he ended up going for a full carat. Here’s an above shot.

So heartbreaking about your ring 🙁

I really love my trellis setting…

my diamond is round, but you can do this type setting with any stone and its similar to what you had but also different

I’m so sorry to hear about your ring 🙁  I can’t even begin to imagine…..

I have a 1.4 carat radiant.  It’s simple, clean.  It looks decent even on my giant size 7.25 fingers!  Mine happens to be a rectangle, but you can also get a square radiant.  In fact, they are very similar to princess cuts.

This is my absolute favorite setting for a princess stone – channel set princess side stones.

My sister has this setting and paired it with the matching band.  It’s sleek and gorgeous.

This set is Pinkpandabear’s from the bee (hope she doesn’t mind me posting it!)  It’s just so pretty!

So sorry about your loss hun!

I have the petite pave cathedral setting from Blue Nile, and I absolutely love it!  My princess cut is definitely smaller than yours, but this setting really places the focus on the diamond, so I’m sure yours would look wonderful too 🙂
