Tradition is that the wedding band goes towards your heart, then the engagement ring.

Traditionally the wedding band goes first as it is closer to your heart. The rings look very snug, my jeweler suggested going up a half size for both rings as the more rings you add to the stack the harder it is to get them on and off

I like the look of the wedding band on bottom. But if you wear it that way, you should probably size up your engagement ring.

purplefae :  Your set looks lovely together.

I grew up being told that “tradition” was to wear the wedding band first, at the base of the finger. And then the engagement ring on top.

But!! I’m always a big fan of ladies wearing their jewelry in the way that is most comfortable and appealing to them. Either way of wearing them is beautiful!! For myself, I always find I am most comfortable wearing my weddng ring at the base of my finger, no matter which band or set I wear. It just feels the best for me. And I like the way it looks best — again, on me.

Which way do you prefer to wear them? Or maybe you might even want to switch up the order now and again for some variety. There really is no right or wrong way to wear them.

I like the wedding band first but I think it’s totally about personal preference. I’m not traditional at all.

I really love the wedding band first too. It’s just nicer, and it’s also traditional no?

purplefae :  to me … These rings don’t go together

Your ering is stunning and the band is nice but with the stature of your fingers I’d personally reconsider the band

Can you change the band to something thinner? It just looks like they are eating your finger and they look really uncomfortable

    Sorry 🙁

purplefae :  I hate when you get a ring to go with your ering and it doesn’t work

I did the same with a 5 stone it’ just looks to heavy of metal with all 3 and if I dont wear it it’ll ruin my ering

I was pretty bummed because I loved the look of a solitare with a 5 stone 😓

As you can see just to thick to metal looking

Gorgeous rings! I prefer it with the e-ring on top and wedding band on bottom. 🙂

Those rings are lovely! It’s traditional to wear the band closer to the hand, and that’s what I plan to do for myself, but you do you! I think it looks good both ways.
