I don’t know why they keep changing them over and over again.

They always end up doing this.

I upgraded and don’t like the new one AT ALL. Wish they would just keep things the same, or at least let you choose 🙁

Well it’d be nice if you could keep the old profile if you opted to, but it would prevent Facebook from advancing forward with new features or fixing bugs in old features because they would always have to worry about things being compatible with the old profile AND the new profile rather than just one, universal profile.

Personally, I like the new profile. I like how it has the little summary at the top and I think it is easier to navigate overall.

I find it annoying that something changes seemingly every day on FB. They must be REALLY bored over there. And every time they make a big change like this, the privacy settings seems to be a lot less customizable.

I don’t care, to be honest.  I find that I have other things in life to worry about.  But that’s just me.

…I don’t mean to come off as a “w”itch.  It’s just how I look at it.

I didnt like the new profile at first but you know what….its kinda grown on me 🙂

I think it will eventually be mandatory for everyone.  Go ahead and upgrade to the new profile…all the cool kids are doing it.

FB continues to upgrade for 2 reasons: to fix bugs and profits (profits are driven by user traffic).

When each user has to ‘upgrade’ to a new feature, and reset all their security settings it generates more traffic. When they overhaul their entire site, it does the same thing (due to confusion/curiosity etc), thusly increasing the amount of ads displayed & possibly clicked on.

It sucks, yes, but there’s not much you can do about it short of not using the site period.

I hate the new look. I hate it even more that once you switch you cannot go back. I’ve gotten used to it for the most part, but I’m still not thrilled with it.
