Hi Bees,
Has anyone seen one of these in person?? They look amazing in pictures. Here is a link to MoissaniteCo’s instagram with video:

Would you choose this over an F1 H&A?? I was thinking the cut looks superior to me just from video ( I love the taller crown), but because it is so new I wonder if it is more risky than going with an F1? Please share your thoughts!

Not sure how they can say cut to “superhuman precision(AGS 000)” when AGS doesn’t grade moissanite. Or maybe they do now….

I know a couple Bees have seen these in person and I’m hoping they’ll chime in…..I don’t want to speak for them.

I had just narrowed down my moissanite center stone choices to FAB Cupid H&A, C&C F1 H&A and NEO Diamond Cut. Think I might have to order this one to compare as well!

sunburn : I think they mean the proportions are the same as an AGS 000.

harlequinade : I see. The problem is that numbers alone don’t guarantee reflection, refraction and dispersion. It would be interesting to see an idealscope or ASET image of these stones.

sunburn : do they do that for moissanite?
I honestly don’t think the Hearts and Arrows round brilliant cut looks good on moissanite, simply because it maximizes a diamond’s brilliance.
Moissanite needs it’s own cut. I think the OEC or OMC look better for moissanite.

AGS tests light performance. That’s why it’s the lab of choice for all super ideal vendors. It goes way beyond GIA. I have an AGS 000 diamond; it’s difficult to make that grade, the cutting has to be precise.
And I think the most beautiful moissy is the OEC.

Welp! I decided to order one for a three stone setting. The sides are F1 H&A and the center is MoissaniteCo’s new H&A cut. I think it looks great (not having much to compare it to), but wanted to see what you bees thought! My initial reaction was that it looks very, very similar to CZ (pictured). It is less steely white than the CZ, which is good as I like warmer stones, and maybe sliiiightly more sparkly? The loose stones are the moissy. Thoughts/comments?

Kind of blurry. I’m not a camera person, but maybe you have a macro setting. And video is the best of all. But what do you think of the stones? Take them in different lighting to be sure.

sunburn : agh, sorry. My phone is probably not the best for pics! I snapped a few videos but I couldn’t figure out how to upload them onto the site. I like the stone but for some reason think I expected it to look a lot different from CZ, especially cut-wise.
